Equipment Operator/Driver - With Class A CDL License
Krügel Cobbles, Inc. is seeking a seasoned and dependable CDL Class A operator to join our field operations team for the 2026 season, beginning Spring.
This position is ideal for an experienced professional who is comfortable hauling equipment, operating excavation machinery, and working as a crew. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, values safety, and can be trusted to operate company equipment independently.
Key Responsibilities
Safely operate a two-axle dump truck requiring a Class A CDL
Haul materials between job sites, the company yard, and authorized dump locations
Transport excavation equipment using trailers in compliance with DOT regulations
Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment
Operate excavation equipment (excavator, skid steer, etc.) for grading, trenching, digging, and backfilling
Assist with site preparation, material placement, and general job site tasks as needed
Follow all company safety policies and federal/state transportation regulations
Maintain communication with supervisors and crew members to ensure efficient project completion
Handle company vehicles and equipment responsibly to prevent damage and downtime
- Valid Class A CDL license with a clean driving record
- Experience preferred, but not required
- Knowledge of federal and state transportation regulations
- Ability to operate and maintain various types of trucks and trailers
- Physical fitness and ability to work in varying weather conditions
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to lift and move heavy items as needed
Schedule
Monday through Friday
- $24.00 – $28.00 per hour, based on experience and skill level
- 401(k) with company matching available after 90 days of employment
