Position Overview:

We are currently hiring for Dump Truck Driver to transport materials and equipment to and from construction sites. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent driving record, and a commitment to delivering goods safely and on time. Responsibilities:

Safely operate and maintain company vehicles with a Class A CDL license.
Transport goods and materials to and from specified locations in a timely manner.
Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations to ensure a safe driving environment.
Perform routine pre and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any defects or issues.
Assist excavation foreman with necessary task (grading, trenching, digging, and backfilling) to finish up projects, when not hauling materials.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date delivery logs and records.
Communicate effectively with Yard Manager and Supervisors.
Ensure the security of the vehicle and handle it with care to prevent damage.

Qualifications:

Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
Experience preferred but not required.
Knowledge of federal and state transportation regulations.
Ability to operate and maintain various types of trucks and trailers.
Physical fitness and ability to work in varying weather conditions.
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to lift and move heavy items as needed.

Environmental Conditions:

Working conditions vary from that of outside conditions (extreme outdoor temperatures/inclement weather conditions), high noise level in certain areas.

Communication:
Extensive daily interaction with yard staff, vendor staff, colleagues, management, and customers. Communicates effectively with all levels of management both internally and externally.
